Boiled Bodhi Vegetarian Cuisine — Restaurant in Taichung

One of THE Best Vegan restaurants I’ve been in Taichung (big statement right there!) but also just very surprised how this random find turned out!!

Firstly I was welcomed with staff who speaks English so very good for tourists like me. Secondly they walk me through with English menu, and with photos. It was a tough decision choosing what to try because… I wanted to try everything. I decided for the spicy as hell ramen (turns out they can adjust spice to your tolerance), and added cheese and egg. Who would’ve thought of doing such? It’s amazing though first sip and I couldn’t get enough I just wish my tummy expanded to try so much more.

I also had the radish cake which also was a bit on sweet and salty combination it was good to wrap up after the ramen but boy am I so full and so overjoyed — every vegetarian’s heaven!

My only request: gluten free noodles and dishes in the future!

-They have English menu who can't understand Chinese very nice very good good staff take care customer very well ( when we are eating dumpling it is very hot , staff immiditaly ask what happen it is very spicy ) we say it is very hot -When we order a food staff or boss come and suggest how to eat food ( suggest us mixed it first ) and same time he suggest us eat dumpling (mo:mo) first very neat and clean area Service time is very quick

BUT it is bit expensive compare to other local restaurant

This would seem to be a pretty upmarket Vegetarian restaurant from the decor and the way the food is presented, not to mention the location and surroundings, but actually the prices are quite reasonable.

The food itself is really full of flavour and served quickly, as well as mentioned before really nicely served. Lots of choice too.
