DoMany Cafe — Restaurant in Taichung

This is probably my most favorite coffee shop ever. Why? Because: The owner is absolutely one of the most genuine and passionate person I’ve ever met. You can see his customers are mainly regulars who keep coming back. Obviously, the coffee. They’re affordable and absolutely delish. Entering the shop makes you feel like you enters into another world. It has a very distinct atmosphere that lets you escape the hustle and bustle of a city. He got a great collections of classic songs on cassette tapes and CDs. The desserts are to die for. The crepe/layered cakes are simply out of this world. I was never once disappointed ordering anything from this shop. Since I first visited this shop, every time I visited Taichung I had to make sure I stop by this shop. Every time I visited Taiwan from the Netherlands, I was always looking to v insuring Taichung specifically because of this shop. Now that I live in Taiwan, I really should visit more often.

Definitely off the beaten track of most peoples radar. This café is situated exactly where Maps says it is contrary to the outward appearance. You will feel completely in the wrong place as you walk up the steps but that's part of what makes this place special. Not everyone will know where it is, even if they go looking.

The cafe is restricted by its small size and so you will feel kinda noisy when full house and you can't really relax when someone is sitting close to you. Apart from that, the coffee and cake are unarguably delicious. Btw, I don't understand why the staff serves me a hot latte with a cup...
