Amici Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in Taichung

I don't usually write angry reviews, but I can't help myself here. Terrible service. I was the only one in the whole restaurant. I ordered black tea, garlic bread, and pizza. When I got the check, I saw that they only scanned the bread and pizza; she didn't see the tea and didn't scan it. When the woman came back, I said I'd also ordered tea, and she didn't even try to understand me. She scanned the tea, BUT the bill goes up with the tip/service. The tea cost 65, and I paid 72 with service. I’m very angry, but okay, fine, I paid a little more, it’s ok. BUT then they served me iced tea, and I ordered HOT. My question is: why am I paying more for service if they don't even want to understand me and can't even properly look at the menu to see what I ordered. Why did she have to do everything in a hurry if I was alone in the whole restaurant? I can understand everything. We are human and we all make mistakes sometimes, but when it happens the first time, then the second, and then the THIRD TIME. Even then I begin to...

After a long night of looking for a good restaurant in Taichung, we came here with my girlfriend tired and angry, not expecting much. We ordered Cheesy French Bread and a 4 cheese with salami pizza. The french bread was good, toasty and cheesy. But the pizza...oh my goodness the pizza was life changing. After taking the first bite all of our troubles and angriness faded away.

The pizza consisted of 4 ingredients: bread, sauce, cheese and salami, but those 4 ingredients went a long way. The bread was flavorful, Crispy and smoky, I had never had such a good crust. The sauce was tangy and tasty. The cheese was abundant, salty, and a little bit acidic. The salami was AUTHENTIC salami, I had never had AUTHENTIC salami on a pizza, it was life changing. My girlfriend says it's the best pizza she's had in Taiwan, i say it's the best I've had in my life.

Edit: I went again after 5 months, it's still as good as...

I used to order from here before and i really liked the carbonara pasta. But today i ordered 2 carbonara pasta around 9:45pm on uber eats for myself and my bf. We waited for the order for 50 mins and finally got the orders. 2 orders were exactly the same. One was properly cooked and it was edible. But the other one was just straight up water, cream, pasta and one egg yolk. No seasoning no pepper no spices or anything. The sauce was just runny like water bro… so I’m assuming the cook was just lazy or just didn’t care about the order because the restaurant was about to close?? If that’s the case just don’t take orders and waste peoples money for straight up water and pasta… so disappointed😶‍🌫️ can’t even eat it and it’s just sitting here...
