Izakaya — Restaurant in Taichung

Great food. Everything we ordered was delicious. The service was decent. The server made some good recommendations. It's a nice and modern atmosphere.

My favourite dishes: the flounder (比目魚） nigiri, the salmon and shrimp fried rice, the onion salad, the lamb yakiyori, the Japanese yam with mentaiko, deep fried tofu, and fat sausage (pig instistines... And I don't even like them usually).

Foods are delicious. Atmosphere too. However, need more smiles from the waiters. Service only so so. A shame, because really enjoyed our first visit otherwise.

Also, the order of food served, the same as pictured, need improvement. Was expecting cold dishes first, then the hot.

Beers are too expensive compared to neighboring restaurants. Wednesday all you can drink is great. But we came on a Thursday. Maybe offer some kind of discount would be more aligned with similar...

Doesn't really felt like a izakaya restaurant, more of a bistro island style deco. Basic varieties of food and all tasted great. Staffs are all very young, and willing to chat with customers sitting at the bar. Took a bit long for dishes if you are there just to eat, but it will be okay if you are drinking and chatting with friends. Difficult to park,...
