Changbei Traditional Danbing — Restaurant in Tainan

This place is absolutely FIRE. Not only was the food good, but the sweet lady taking orders has communication skills like she is sleeping on top of the Rosetta stone itself at night absorbing it's infinite wisdom. She doesn't speak English or Korean, but she ends every sentence with an adorable "thank you" that makes even beginner mandarin or hokkien speakers blush. Even though the place is busy, she checked in with every table and made sure they were taken care of. I felt like she adopted us and took us in as her own.

First off, this eatery actually has an enclosed and air conditioned eating area which is a major plus considering the hot weather in tainan. Because it’s made to order you have to wait a bit. But it’s totally worth the wait. The 蛋餅 is crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Not super greasy. The garlic soy sauce is super yum.
