Chaotic local bakery, but mainly because of the crazy customers. The luosong bread is good, yes, but not worth 30 mins on line IMO. We got there at around 1:30pm for the 2pm release and there were already 40 people ahead of us. At 2:02pm a guy behind us complained loudly, why is the line not moving? And the cashier replied, sorry there is a slight delay, to which the guy said, ahhh I don’t want to wait! Not sure why these customers feel so entitled, it was only 2 minutes after 2, RELAX! The line moved very quickly soon after and in a few minutes I had my half dozen of freshly baked luosong. 6 of these, a caterpillar bread and a bag of mini luosong with rousong cost me just under 1000NTD. Would come back for the caterpillar bread (no queue needed) and grab a luosong if I didn’t...

We went back this morning around 9am only to find that most things hadn’t been put out...
Read moreDelicious famous house loaf of bread. So soft, fluffy and moist with a layer of cream on the inside. Could eat an entire loaf in one sitting! One loaf costs $75. Many people call in ahead of time to reserve some items (could be loaves or even the single buns they sell). I went the first time and all the loaves were gone but I saw many bags of reserved items sitting on the shelves. Pineapple cake is not that good. Rou-song (dried pork floss) bun...
