An old Taiwanese house, a cultured (japan and taiwan) combined old school mixed bar, having many antiques, and light settings, the menu card Is also like the old 19th century ones, with all patchy names (mainly the cocktails) related to the kings or a queens Era. The sealing is supported with old wooden blocks and the walls are just too old, may be they want the old feeling, it's like an old abundant home with just tables and chairs fitted. A slow mood bar, not very noisy, I would prefer telling this as a Cafe rather than a bar, (no offense LOLA management). The cocktails quality is bit less when compared to the other bars. Order for the night: The rabbits naked lunch - 250 NTD burbon whiskey, lemon and red wine, kind of a sour and double colored naked drink, Buffalo Spicy chicken wings - 150 NTD, 8 think too sour as they put the Mexican spicy sauce Margarita pizza - 220 NTD, Really well cooked and wood burnt Fried platter (chicken nuggets, chicken cutlet and French fries) - 250 NTD- the best French fries I have ever tasted in my life, really the best ones, so crispy and crunchy, it was big chunks and with the skin, not only also, it was like oil fried, I could not find any diffence, I was just disappointed that they did not have mayonnaise Tequila shots - 80 NTD, same as usual Cocktail by the house, I felt their menu did not have a stronger cocktail, is I told the bartender to create something strong and make it special, its was special and good but not strong. It's was really good, I appreciate the bartender to do a good job
On the whole a good choice, it's in a small alley and if u don't follow the Google maps clearly u will be surely lost
Bon appetite...
