This random food find is AMAZING! The food was so delicious I ordered double of everything and more broth. The broth is ginger herb and old duck slow simmer and as you cook more food it adds MORE flavor to the broth! It’s soooo delicious for the winter but I had it in the summer and I still finished a pot and half of the broth. First time in Taiwan & first try this duck soup, the place is across my hotel accommodation (Caesar Metro). The soup is amazing, no strong herbal & ginger flavor, but still flavourful. The duck is tender, no gamey smell. The frozen tofu and fresh bean curd stick are must try. delicious traditional ginger duck alcoholic soup. perfect for cold weather/ winter. a lot of side dishes and add one to choose from. pricing is fair, i would say expect $500 NTD per person. not too bad of a wait. you can even ask them to refill the soup then take it to go. i'm planning on getting more hot pot ingredients and have a second dish with this deliciously crafted soup base. would recommend for anyone looking for something different than hot pot. great for group settings....
