大山咖啡店 — Restaurant in Xinyi District

Chose this place based on the photos, and it was the best decision I could have made. It delivers in terms of how stylish and modern the place looks/feels. It has your stereotypical hypatersy vibe but in a good way. The staff is polite and they make you feel welcomed. They have different origins coffee, as a Colombian I was tempted to go for our excellent coffee, but it's been a while since I drink Ethiopian coffee so I went for that one, it was pretty good, the whole preparation is measured (grams and milliliters) and the presentation is pretty nice too. I ordered some pastry to go with it (Scone) and it came with passion fruit jam and cream cheese. I recommend this place 100%, and I will definitely come again when I return to Taiwan, too bad I discovered in my last day of the trip. They really know their coffee here. I've tried three different drip coffees, getting to smell and appreciate each bean before selecting it. Each were brewed perfectly with fantastic attention to detail and clearly a lot of care put into each cup. We travelled nearly an hour to get here and it was definitely worth it.
