Read moreVery pretty Western style cafe with large assortment of drinks (tea, coffee, smoothies, fruit juices), pasta, pizza, set meals and a few desserts. Portion size seemed large too. We were able to reserve a table for 10 people. Atmosphere is nice. Lots of groups come here get together, catch up and celebrate.
Food was okay. Very nice presentation. Servers don’t know or remember who ordered what. So every time a plate came we were shouting at each other down the table asking who ordered this saying it in mandarin and also in English for our non speaking friends. Even more confusing is that ALL of the drinks we ordered with our meal were served last. Our smoothie became dessert, the ice tea and mojito I ordered became after meal drinks. Had I known, I would’ve ordered hot drinks to close my meal.
Our seating was by the restroom. Which unfortunately meant there was a lot of smoking smell. If you go towards the women’s restroom the smell is even stronger. If you’re sensitive to smells, this searing location is not ideal.

The last time I was here I walked in and the entire staff ignored me. It’s a shock to be ignored by 5+ people in such a small space. There were multiple open seats. After a couple of minutes an older Taiwanese couple walked in and stood next to me. They were immediately greeted and given a seat. I was STILL ignored, not even given eye contact, and felt very awkward for another minute or so. It became clear as others walked in and were greeted that I was being ignored because I was a foreigner.
You couldn’t pay me to go back here. If you are a foreigner, there are much friendlier places all...
