One of the best Singaporean / Malaysian restaurant in Taipei I think.
I think their Klang (巴生) Bah Kut Teh tasted pretty well and authentic, more toward the Hokkien style where the color of the broth is darker and heavier on the soy sauce and other herb and spices flavor. Massive pieces of pork ribs with lean meat on the bones to give that extra succulent pleasure. Sweet and flavorful soup with a note of Chinese medicine and various oriental spices.
The Hainan Chicken rice was also enjoyable but I think it got outperformed by their house made condiment sauces, especially their Pureed Ginger Scallion Sauce and their Red Chili sauce – both sauces go well with everything.

I love Hainanese Chicken Rice, and my favorite part if the sauce. Unfortunately, the sauce at this location was not unique enough for a special trip. The chicken was juice enough, but two of the pieces still have feather stub on them…
The service was ok, but it was really interesting that the server asked me to Google when I asked about a street that’s two blocks away… That’s why I gave a one star for service.

Read moreI am a huge fan of Hainanese Chicken Rice. This is one of my favorite Hainanese chicken rice in Taipei. Their chicken meat is silky smooth and tender. My personal favorite is the rice, which is with a hint of saltiness and is rich in flavor. I love how the aroma (chicken oil) of chicken is being infused into the rice . Oh and don’t forget to try the ginger and scallion sauce (the one that is green in color), which is an essence for the Hainanese Chicken Rice. The combination is simple, but the overall sensation is simply mind blowing.
