We were delighted to stumble upon this stylish vegan restaurant by chance, when visiting the Yilan Administratin Hall. The menu has delicious vegan versions of all our Chinese staples and some unusual additions (like Tofu in Tea Sauce, served with burdock rice- delicious!) served beautifully and situated in a charming Japanese style building. Some dishes contain egg, but the staff made us aware of this when we ordered. It’s medium price-range, but worth every penny. Read moreEverything we ordered was great. Better than the location in Taipei in my view. We particularly liked the taro rice noodles and deep fried oysters mushroom. The latter was so good that we ordered a second round and my friend who hates oyster mushroom loved that dish. The veggies were fresh and not over cooked. Their white rice was also solid and one of the best rice we've had during the trip to Taiwan. The washroom is not wheelchair friendly though being a few steps below the restaurant level so my father who is on a wheelchair was challenged. Service was friendly and efficient....
