Indulge your taste buds with a savory sensation that will transport you to the bustling streets of Yilan. Enter Wei Rou Geng, the gem of Taiwanese cuisine, and be prepared to be blown away by their signature Garlic Coup Pork Broth. This delectable dish will awaken your senses with its tantalizing aroma and bold, savory flavors.

As a foreigner, I was mesmerized by the sheer number of people queuing up to try this dish, and it did not disappoint. The soup boasts a garlic infusion that will have garlic lovers swooning with each spoonful. The succulent pork adds a meaty depth to the dish, and the broth is so flavorful that you'll find yourself savoring every last drop.

But the taste adventure doesn't end there! Wei Rou Geng also offers a delightful Taiwanese-style Kimchi that will satisfy your cravings for a spicy kick. The balance of flavors is perfectly orchestrated, creating a harmonious explosion of flavors that will dance on your palate.

To truly indulge in the full experience, I highly recommend adding vermicelli to the soup or pairing it with a side of steaming rice. It will complete the meal and leave you feeling satisfied and happy.

Wei Rou Geng is a must-visit restaurant that you simply cannot miss. The Garlic Coup Pork Broth and Taiwanese Cycle Kimchi are truly mouth-watering and food guaranteed to be unforgettable. So come and let your taste buds experience the magic of Wei Rou Geng - you won't regret it!

Bon appetite...

The garlic meat soup is very light and comforting, best for a rainy day. There's a strong garlic flavour and also a peppery kick. You can choose to have it with just the meat sliced pork and garlic soup, or with egg noodles, thin rice noodles, flat rice noodles, or rice.

The soy sauce oiled tofu and boiled vegetables were simple and good too. I recommend adding the Japanese style vinegar and chilli oil that comes on every table to...

I don’t know about the guy who wrote a novel in the reviews but he was right on the money.

The soup was great. I got the one with flat noodles but I think a round noodle might be better since the flat ones kind of disintegrated.

The golden kimchi and fried tofu were great additions to the soup as well.

Men’s washroom was clean and...
