敘香園 Shiang Garden Restaurant — Restaurant in Zhongshan District

This place offers a fairly extensive selection of dim sums. In addition, dishes originated from two eastern China coastal provinces are offered.

Our party of seven ordered a large variety of dim sums on the day we visited. Unfortunately, none of the dim sums engendered my desire for a repeat visit.

The dim sums offered in is place are mediocre at best and it was clear that the dim sums offered that day is substandard. Every item was bland. Not one single item was memorable. Were it not for the decent services by the waiting staff, I would have rated one star.

Any Hong Kong restaurant that offers dim sum is better by a substantial margin. While Taipei is not known as a metropolis with outstanding dim sum restaurants, I can easily think of two places that are better.

Oh wow, 敍香園is real an old brand which is more than 50 years old. It’s known for Shanghainese, Jiangsu and Zhejiang style Chinese food. I haven’t been here for 40 years.
