Important to manage your expectations here, Tasty Steakhouse is good value for what you pay but the food is not exactly gourmet. Tasty is part of a chain of restaurants in Taipei and is the most affordable, family friendly of the chains food offerings. And be prepared for kids in the dining room, this where Taipei families bring the kids to dinner. Very good value combination meals available at several price levels and the quantity of food is good. Steaks are very tender and cooked to order and roasted chicken is served with nicely crispy skin. Salad was good, larger than expected and soup was also very good, a bit larger portion than might be necessary actually. I was full after my soup and appetizer courses. Visiting Tasty was a delightful experience from start to finish. The ambiance was upscale yet welcoming, perfect for a special night out. The service was attentive and knowledgeable about their cuts of meat, making excellent recommendations. As for the star of the show—the steak—it was cooked to perfection, juicy and flavorful, with just the right amount of seasoning. The sides were also delicious, especially the loaded baked potato.
