The eel is high quality, and grilled to perfection. My mom, who does not like eel, will only eat eel here. Their eel bentos are all classic choices. They do have a bento box with shredded eggs with less eel, and it's a good combination. Grilled eel with burdock and egg with eel are also must-orders for us. Their tempura is surprisingly good, crispy, and not soaked in grease.
The restaurant can get a bit hectic because of all the customers, but the servers are all well-informed and helpful. They can speak Japanese as well. Menus are also in Japanese. The owner is Japanese, which sums up the level of authenticity here.

Pros: Very Japanese (at least to a guy from the sub-continent) - AMAZING Eel, great squid and a hearty collection of quintessential Japanese dishes and bento boxes. You also get bottomless tea - not too strong, not mild like green tea.
Cons: No English on the menu. Servers don't speak a word of English. You better go there with a local friend or acquaintance.
