Yakikon is hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Taipei! From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with warm smiles and an inviting atmosphere. The decor is modern yet cozy, setting the perfect mood for an unforgettable meal.
The food? Spectacular! Every dish was cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor and creativity. The beef was tender and juicy, grilled to perfection with that irresistible smoky char. Their signature meats and perfectly seasoned sides were standouts, but honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The attention to detail is evident in every bite.

Have to make a reservation, they seem to be packed everyday. Came here at 6:30pm to make a reservation at 9pm. With locals, japanese, and tourist all coming here. And they only have 9x4 seats available. The bbq selection is wide, with a lot of meat and some seafood and vege selection. The service is top notch with them cooking the food for us, and they are attentive too with 3 waiters among the 9 tables. Highly recommend the oxtail soup and skirt steak, and deluxe wagyu. It’s the kind of place where I think of friends from the states, and if they were ever to visit, here would be on the top of my list of restaurants to visit.
