I can’t believe I had the chance to enjoy such fresh and flavorful milk fish in the city! Milk fish can be tricky to find and often has a strong, fishy smell, but this place nailed it. The shop is busy all day—morning, noon, and evening—and I was curious, so I decided to give it a try. The shopfront doesn’t look very inviting by the way.
The mixed porridge was absolutely delicious—everything was incredibly fresh and piping hot. Even though it can get a little crowded during winter, the food and portion sizes are definitely worth it. The fried milk fish belly was tasty, and you can tell the food here is made with care and honesty. The oysters were also fresh and plump, and the omelette was flavorful.
The shop might not be the cleanest, with that local vibe, but the seating inside is comfortable. I personally don’t enjoy sitting downstairs because it can feel a bit stuffy, and the strong smell of cleaning products can be overwhelming. I’d recommend sitting on the second floor or ordering takeout for a more pleasant dining experience.
The food is clean, though—the stir-fried veggies were generous and not bad at all. However, the 滷肉飯 (braised pork rice) wasn’t to my taste. I mostly stick to the porridge, fried fish, and omelette, and I’ve eaten here a lot because it’s consistently delicious and reasonably priced. Definitely...

8.5/10 Luroufan - Very tender melt in your mouth with the right amount of fats. The bamboo shoot was good and cooked just right
9/10 Grilled milkfish belly with Pepper - So fresh and tasted incredible. Crispy outside, tender meat and fats that also melted in your mouth with each bite. The pepper powder complimented the fish really well.
5/10 Fish sliced soup - To me this was really bland even with the dipping sauce and wasabi . Soup had little taste and fish slices...

今天實在不想再拿200元吃文青咖哩,轉而來到龍江街吃台南味的虱目魚~😁 11:15到達,已有不少用餐人群;離開時,甚至外面都要排起隊,生意 真好。
油豆腐(15) = 豆瓣滷汁油豆腐,味鹹中帶甜,嘴底沒有回澀感,口感也好,4.5分。 蚵仔蛋(55) = 煎功了得,微酥不油,蚵仔鮮香以及甜味自然流露,5分。 滷肉飯(60) = 口味偏甜,味道層次豐富,不會像是一般店家感受到死鹹;肥油有鮮美味,不會膩口,6分。 煎虱目魚肚(110) = 乾煎,末端有刺有點惱人,部過其餘部分沒有。同樣,魚皮又酥微脆,煎功了得,魚皮咬起來還油滋滋的。吃到魚腹時,那種雙重的油脂炸彈,感覺十分享受!! 7分。
2019.05.10= 路過看過不少人潮排隊外帶,想必又是一家有美味特色的店!! 店面狹長簡陋,但不像Google評價中說的那麼爛,還有冷氣可以吹;應該是搬過店面了吧? 填張菜單,菜啪啪啪的,十分有效率的裝盤好。
控肉飯(60) 油豆腐(15) 蚵仔蛋(55) 虱目魚肚湯(100)
先嚐了一口控肉飯,入口...唉唷唷,這滷汁用發酵的豆瓣醬進去熬煮,口味不是重鹹,但是味道層次跟豐富度十分之高,甚至有點回甘的尾韻。加上那入口即化的軟嫩,嘖嘖,可惜筍乾普通了點,還有飯實在是太溼了,未列我心中控肉飯第二名,6.5分。油豆腐也是這滷汁燉煮的,還帶有一點肉屑,吃乾抹盡。蚵仔蛋,火候功力十分高明,蚵仔剛剛好的鮮度,整個蚵仔蛋吃起來不油,爽口,6分。虱目魚肚湯,薑味濃,一個字,鮮,但沒有覺得特別之處,下次來是是紅燒口味?? 5分。
