The least authentic Indian restaurant I've ever been too. Everything typical Taiwanese blandness. It's perfectly adapted to Taiwanese taste. I could not taste much of any typical Indian spices. Toast, salad, whatever that's not Indian. Never had iceberg salad in India... The salad tastes like salad bought in a European supermarket from the packacked salad bar. The Palak paneer is using mozzarella and some wannabe cottage cheese which certainly isn't cottage cheese, maybe a vegan imitation??? Really never had Palak paneer which tasted like a toast from a diner in USA. Well at least authentic American giving you ketchup and mayonaise to eat it. The only thing which tasted authentic was the dhaal. Easy dhaal is bland in India too so it perfectly fits Taiwanese taste. And yeah I've been to northern India or Nepal, maybe can compare the taste a bit to high altitude trekking in Nepal in winter There the food is also rather bland because they simply have no spices available. But that's the tourist menu only. If you are in lower regions the local food will use what they find freshly on fields or in the jungle so way...
Read moreThe food was pretty good, with good volume and reasonable price. Unfortunately, their service wasn’t satisfactory. For one, their online order system was only a gimmick (which was promoted with stickers on customers' tables, BTW.) So after we were seated and completed our order online, we were left in the wind for a good 30-40 minutes. Not a single server bothered to check us up or even noticed us in the mean time. Turned out their online order system wasn't working, and our order was non-existent despite the system had issued us an order number. For another, they also claimed that their credit card machine had an internet connection problem that night so wasn’t available. We paid in cash in the end. The eatery also claims to accept JKOPay, but one shouldn’t bet on it anyway. In summary, unless we REALLY crave for some Indian food that day, we probably won’t come back. The potential taste of sloppy service just...
Read moreSuper excellent high quality Indian food! Me and my three friends had a reservation and came in for a wonderful dinner experience. The servers were incredibly warm and friendly and explained menu recommendations and how to eat certain appetizers in clear detail! Between the four of us we opted to share one two person set (999nt) (which is a great deal, comes with an appetizer, two entrees, two drinks and two desserts and an additional roti for 400nt discount!), and two additional entrees (minimum order per adult is one entree!). Each curry was extremely flavorful and the variety of breads to dip were vast (roti, thick toast bread, etc). The servers even explained the origins of Indian dishes in ancient history so cool!! It's quite filling and a very fun experience, and the space itself is so beautiful and clean and ambient, I cannot recommend enough for a very satisfying...
