TOU KAI Japanese Cuisine — Restaurant in Zhongshan District

Despite average food quality, and the odd tasting complimentary red bean soup, what disappointed me the most, was the rude attitude coming from one of the waitresses towards my mother. We were under time pressure, and inquired her which dishes could be served more quickly and she was very impatient and said, look, all foods need time, you just have to wait! Well, don’t we all know preparing foods take time? But as a professional waitress, we do expect her to explain politely to us which dishes take a shorter time, or at least say she can pass on the message to the chef that we are in a rush. A tasteful and spacious restaurant serving beautifully presented traditional dishes. I had their large mixed sashimi bowl and it satisfied on every level.
