BEPPIN PASTA — Restaurant in Zhongshan District

Please avoid that place !!! If you are a foreigner this waitress will probably ask you to wait longer and let the others.

I know this has no sense to complain here but I have been waiting for 30min (alone). Suddenly, for no reason she let several passerby get inside without waiting..... (I can just tell you that they did not reserve as I put my name in the waiting list).

My Taiwanese friend call them after I left to understand the dilemma. They sounds very unclear and confuse in their explainations.

Above all , I fully respect the rules everywhere I go (especially in Taiwan）but unfortunately I must said that this is not the first time that she is doing this. How come such good place hire such unprofessional people ??

Food was okay considering it is Italian with an Asian twist. Taiwan has a lot of Italian pasta restaurants with Japanese themes...

Service overall was good but I am giving it a two star only due to the fact that this restaurant needs to restructure how they do seating!

I’ve never seen a restaurant which allows patrons to go in and eat first and then change seats half way through a meal! This cause a lot of chaos and hence the long wait to get in! Also they didn’t restrict the duration of a meal and so there were these two girls that finished their meal and then sat there and yacked for 30+ min while everyone was standing outside melting!

Other than that the service was fast and attentive, I certainly hope the restaurant management will do something about the seating...
