10/7/25 highly recommend this 山海樓餐廳 we revisited and enjoyed gourmet cuisine at mountain & Sea house restaurant. This restaurant is very consistent delivered high quality and craftsmanship cuisine. Love their 柚花烏龍茶 etc.

Read moreThe whole experience for me is quite disappointing. We had ordered two weeks in advance for the Lan (蘭)meal set. But the chef has been changed our dishes Osmanthus Xiefen”桂花炒蟹” to a really simple dish shrimp without any advance notice. And they even explain that is an upgrade dishes for us. For me, it’s not acceptable, since I was choose this Lan (蘭) set meal, just because of the Osmanthus Xiefen(桂花炒蟹).
If saying they want to impress the customer for the upgrading dishes, they should ask the customer in advance if we want to change the dishes or not. They didn’t even ask us, what kind of food we will be allergic or not at the first of beginning when we arrive the restaurant. How do they know if I will be allergic to shrimp or not?
I don’t feel respected especially in a good reputation Michelin restaurants from how they treated customer in not professional way.
And I don’t see the point that the official website showing the menus for customer to pre book in advance( they advice).
If you talking about the taste of those other dishes, I don’t think I will recommend this restaurant, coz the taste isn’t as good as other civilian restaurant in Taiwan.
For me, most of Taiwan restaurants are really served with heart and I could tasted the food that the chef are cooking with heart and skill. 山海樓 Mountain and Sea House is the only restaurant disappointed...
