Sukiya restaurant near Taipei Main Station is a popular establishment known for its delicious Japanese dishes. The restaurant, which has a well-earned reputation, offers a cozy dining experience on its upper floor. The lunch set on the menu is a great option, although it was surprising not to find any noodles in the diverse selection. Nevertheless, the food remains delicious, showcasing the restaurant's culinary expertise.
One notable aspect of Sukiya is their efficient and attentive staff who are able to communicate in English. They not only provide excellent service but also ensure that the food is prepared quickly, catering to both dine-in and take-away customers. What sets Sukiya apart is their late-night operation, continuing to serve customers until around 2am. This is particularly convenient for those who are unsure of what to eat late at night.
Overall, I would rate Sukiya restaurant a 9 out of 10. If you find yourself searching for a delectable meal during odd hours, Sukiya is definitely worth...
Read moreMost restaurants around the hotel close at 9pm, except here. Place your order and sit down. Beer (TWD 60) is also sold at a reasonable price. It was disappointing that there was no Taiwan beer, only Japanese beer Asahi. I was able to eat the Kyudon set (TWD 129).
At first, there was no indication that "Cash only" was accepted at the entrance of the restaurant or around the cashier, and since it was a large franchise, of course I thought it would be possible to pay with a credit card. I expected it to be a credit card. It didn't, and it was baffled me.

A few days ago, I was baffled that "Mos Burger(Japanese brand) only accepts cash, but it was inconvenient that Japan corporate restaurants also follow the same policy.
I'm just grateful that they can't do Cash only that in Korea. (There are no "Sukiyaki" franchise...

Once you submit the mobile order, the food comes quickly. You take your receipt and pay at the cashier after you eat!
The beef quality and taste was very close to what we had in Japan. I like that Taiwan location as option to add side of green veggie (garlic flavor) for 40 NT. There were lots of clams in the clam miso soup, but the actual taste of the soup is not as good as Japan. The yuzu pickled radish was ok, I prefer without the yuzu. You can keep the cost under 200 NTD per person but we chose to order combo and Coca Cola (30 NT per can)
Overall, this satisfied the craving for not too much money. The...
