Peace Sculpture — Attraction in Taipei

「黃氏節孝坊」位於二二八公園國立台灣博物館的右側，建立於清光緒八年(西元1882年)， 是為旌表王妻黃氏節孝事蹟而立。《台灣通史－烈女列傳》曾記載其事蹟如後：「黃氏，淡水人， 嫁艋舺士人王家霖。夫死守節，卒年七十有四，奉旨旌表。光緒八年冬十月，建坊於城內東門街。」 東門街就是今日總統府前的凱達格蘭大道。日據時代明治三十四年（1901年 ），因為拓建總督府官邸圍牆， 而將「黃氏節孝坊」遷至今日二二八公園內。幾年前，因捷運施工，又將黃氏節孝坊拆下暫時貯放，如今才又重新 組立於台灣博物館的東側。 The "Huang's Festival Xiaofang" is located on the right side of the National Taiwan Museum of the 228 Park.
