Wilbeck Cafe — Restaurant in Zhongzheng District

There’s probably 10 coffee shops within a mile radius near my hotel and I am so glad I picked Wilbeck!

A little cafe with limited seating inside and out (yes on the walkway outside), super busy with customers grabbing coffees in and out of the store, seems like I’ve discovered the right place to enjoy my morning coffee!

My instincts were right, vibe was on point, ambiance was on point, decor was on point, staffs were friendly and knowledgeable about their menu.

I ended up enjoying a flat white and a pourover at the store and as I was finishing up my coffee, they made my togo drinks fresh and ready to takeaway.

I would return to this...

Great coffee! Nice ambiance though is small space. It manage to make you feel you are transport to another time and space... it is well designed. The owners or the designer has put in great attention to all parts of the shop space, each item could tell a story of its time.

The coffee was great, you could taste the freshness of the beans and smooth. It is a small shop you may miss it if you do not pay attention. Do look out for it, it is near Taipei...

As a casual coffee drinker, their Americano set the bar so high that it became the measure by which I judge the Americano of other cafes. I’ve also tasted their espresso and other drinks, all of which I’ve enjoyed immensely. I still dream about their coffee long after I’ve left Taiwan.
