The signature wontons are dumplings rather than wontons actually. The size is huge, and the dough skin is thick. The small bowl itself comes with 6 pieces, which can be very fulfilling for a lady or school kid already. I personally would prefer having dumplings in other soup base elsewhere rather than the wontons in msg soup base here. They do have regular meaty wontons that are more authentic though nothing special.

I was seated immediately, and I ordered my wontons right away. However, the staff messed up the orders, and I had to ask for my bowl twice before being served together with many others who arrived at least 15min after me. It is simply chaotic during peak hours, and I didn't find the tastes good enough to justify another...

A nice find ... I was quite impressed with the flavor in the broth and the stuffing in the wontons (dumplings). Most places will over season the broth and meat but this place struck a nice balance. The texture and thickness of the wonton skins were crafted very well, thus you never felt the cooked dough sticking to your teeth or seeming too 'doughy.' The small side dishes (tofu threads, blanched cabbage, seaweed bows) that we ordered were a great accompaniment to the wontons. I will gladly come eat here again but I will order a smaller portion. WARNING ... the portions are generous so the Large size includes 10 wontons which I could not finish. Because I enjoyed them so much I over-ate having finished only half...

This place has one of the best soup dumplings in Taipei! It is a small restaurant that serves primarily dumplings and small dish, and some other noodle choices. Their dumplings is big but not heavy because there are more veggies than meat inside, which actually gives it a really good texture compare to other meat heavy dumplings. The soup base is clean, the dumplings are not over seasoned (If you find it blend, add some Chilli sauce), and is top with shredded egg and seaweed. They do make their raw dumplings outside on the sidewalk so you will have to be prepared to see that. Definitely...
