We had a great experience in Zanzi cafe tonight. The menu was very varied, the staff were all friendly and kind, the food tasted INCREDIBLE and it really was excellent value for money. I wish we were not leaving Stone town tomorrow as I would love to return to Zanzi cafe!

Great place to get big portions for very little money. I usually have stomach issues in Africa, the soups here cured my digestive issues! The biryani rice is incredibly tasty!! We came here nearly on a daily basis during our 4 week stay on Sansibar 🫶🏻

We were here for having breakfast, we ordered 2 different breakfast types (Continental & English). Unfortunately coffee didn't taste good. Portions of tomatoes and mushrooms as written on the menu were very small (1/2 tomato and maybe 2 mushrooms). Butter and jam, as stated on the menu, was completely missing. When I asked for butter (the second time!), the owner went to the next mini market and bought it and then gave it to us. I asked for baked beans since those were also included in the menu. The owner did not really react and did not serve them although they should have been part of the breakfast that I ordered. So, unfortunately I can't recommend this place since there was no apology for the missing parts in our breakfast. Actually I felt like we were annoying customers for them for requesting what should been part of our breakfast. I felt very...

Our favourite spot in stone town. We went 3 days in a row! Their iced coffees are really good. Dinner was also delicious and amazing value compared to the super touristy places by the beach. We had beef biriani and chicken curry with pilau rice - so delicious. We then went back for breakfast (10k shillings for a full english and 2 drinks). The women working there are lovely! Zanzi cafe - don't change anything

(NB - don't think they sell...

Food is very delicious and they offer big plates, from different cuisines. Staff was always friendly and the food is really price worthy and safe to eat :)) When I got sick from the food in Sansibar I went to Zanzi Cafe and became healthy again due to their delicious vegetable and carrot soups 😍 If there was wifi there I would have probably almost moved in since me and my friends ate most of our...
