Anadolu-Anatolia Turkish Restaurant — Restaurant in Mkunazini

Genuinely terrible food. We ordered about 4 items 3 which included chicken. None of the chicken was even remotely warm, so initially we were nervous about food poisoning. We asked if they could at least reheat the chicken in the microwave, and when it came back, it was barely room temperature. We ate the humus (which was also horrible. I’m not sure how someone can mess up humus) and stale bread and left 2 of the 3 chicken dishes basically untouched because we didn’t want to risk getting food poisoning with the chicken being precooked but not even warm when given to us. We split the shawarma wrap because at least that was a bit warm & we were honestly so hungry…

We are full time year round travelers, have been to Turkey multiple times, have eaten some questionable street food in many countries. But definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to someone if they have any nerves of food poisoning. Serving chicken that’s recooked and comes to the customer cold, who knows how many times that has been reheated, left out and served. Not worth the possible...

Speaking as someone who's very familiar with Turkish cuisine. I enjoy it every so often from the restaurants in London.

I was largely disappointed with the quality of the food. Ordered a Mixed Kebab serving two with a couple of fizzy drinks. All the meat, rice, bulgar and salad was dry. The saving grace was the lahmacun which I did enjoy.

To help me wash the food down the drinks were also forgotten to be served to us having to remind the waitress and then taking some time to be served.

My wife and I didn't finish our food and to add insult to injury for my rating was that I was being London rate charging for the food and a surcharge for card payments.

I suppose they can because they're one of only a few Turkish restaurants in the region but a restaurant like this wouldn't last a day in London.

It was a comfortable place to sit and can imagine a more social setting here with friends over tea. But not much more than that.

I don't like to criticise, but the price to food quality really...

The staff were polite and clearly tried their best, often apologising and putting in effort throughout our visit. However, the overall service experience was extremely poor.

Our order was forgotten, and after reminding them, we were twice brought food meant for other tables. The waiters seemed quite disorganised, moving back and forth between tables trying to figure out where each dish belonged. We eventually received our food after an hour of waiting.

While clearing the table, one of the staff accidentally tipped a sauce container over my head, spilling it all over both of our clothes and shoes.

The food itself was decent, and the coffee was good, but sadly, the service made it one of the worst restaurant experiences we’ve had. I really do appreciate the staff’s politeness and efforts, but the coordination and training clearly need...
