Today I was walking home from River city, and I decided to stop by this little place and look really cute and I really like the dark teak look and it was very sort of authentic thai so I thought I’d love to just have some really good Thai food!
I ordered the spring rolls, and to my dismay they were probably bought from Makro and were 1/2 cooked!! For the price these were not worth it at all for sure! I think there were three, but they were cut in half to make it look like there was lots there, but really take a look at the picture! I pay way more for 100 baht and they aren’t bought from Makro. I also ordered the beef spicy salad 🥗 . I haven’t had that yet. I had that for take away because they didn’t have sticky rice.🍚
I was quite disappointed in the food. I think this place could do really well if they had a proper chef and proper portion size because even the spicy beef salad dish that I ordered, I could tell the portion is super small. It was 100 baht!

Read moreThe staff at this restaurant are incredibly rude and irresponsible. I ordered a fresh coconut, but when it arrived, I discovered there was no coconut meat inside, it was clearly a bad coconut, not fresh at all. When I brought this to their attention, the staff responded that there was nothing they could do and refused to listen to me, continuously insisting there was no solution. I explained again that the coconut was not fresh and that they should address the issue, as it wasn’t the customer’s fault. The staff responded that it wasn’t their fault either, claiming that the coconuts were provided to them this way, because we had already started drinking it, they couldn’t offer a replacement. She was super rude and gave me an angry look, like it was my fault for getting a bad coconut.
They pushed the responsibility onto the customer and didn’t give me a chance to speak. Eventually, the staff took the coconut away, supposedly to speak to the supplier next door. When they returned, they only offered to give me a 50% discount on the coconut, which was ridiculous. There was no apology, and it wasn’t a negotiation but rather a decision they made on their own. This restaurant is truly unreasonable—by far the worst people I’ve encountered in Thailand. On top of that, the food was terrible, bland, and clearly made without care. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to eat here.
I don’t know why she’s treating me this way. Maybe it’s because I have an Asian face, as her attitude toward the white people at the next table...
Read moreThe service was horrible. Very unwelcoming. The owner wanted to take the order from the other side of the room keeping asking us “tell me” when she was still 5m away.
Moreover, my partner has peanut allergy, the owner was quite rude in telling her she could not eat there. As we were in a rush I decided to eat there and my partner went to 7 eleven nearby to take white bread. Despite being alone in the restaurant, the owner asked her to leave the restaurant because she was eating a piece of white bread.
Having peanut allergy is not her fault and restaurants should be equipped not to discriminate anyone, but apart from this, asking her to go outside and eating on the street was simply another level.
It ruined our day. Please be mindful of...
