May Kaidee’s Vegetarian Restaurant is an absolute gem! Whether you’re a dedicated vegetarian or simply someone who appreciates delicious, fresh, and flavorful food, this place is a must-visit.
The menu is packed with vibrant, authentic Thai dishes, all made with high-quality ingredients and bursting with taste. Their curries are rich and fragrant, the stir-fries are perfectly balanced, and the soups are full of depth. The Pad Thai is one of the best I’ve ever had—perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of sweetness and spice.
Beyond the incredible food, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a cozy, relaxed vibe that makes you feel right at home. The staff are friendly, attentive, and passionate about what they do, which enhances the overall experience. They even have wifi!
What sets May Kaidee apart is not just the outstanding food but also the dedication to healthy, plant-based eating without sacrificing flavor. They also offer cooking classes, which are a fantastic way to learn the secrets behind their incredible dishes.

It is not authentic Thai, not healthy and not tasty. It is just technically vegetarian. I have decided to stop giving this place second, third, and tenth chance. In fact, I have stopped coming here as of today.
This most recent visit, after having eaten here since the early 1990s or so, I ordered..
Pad si-yu: scrambled (!) wide noodles. I had asked for only 'pa kana'. Everything was pre-mixed so I was told in advance that it had to be mixed veggies. But I did not get any pa kana, instead another cheaper green leafy veg (mostly stalks). Generous portion but disappointing taste. Zero salt. 6.5/10
Banana blossom salad: I showed her a picture of the genuine fresh whole item but the abberation I received had none of the delightful astringency of the genuine article because it was only 30% (at most), all shredded and drowning in sweet sesame or peanut sauce. I had asked for ginger and garlic. I couldn't see or taste any. I asked for no sugar. I estimate it to be between 4-8%. Only the red onions were good. 5/10
3: soda in a mug of ice w/ lime wedges on the side. Impossible to foul up, 10/10

Read moreWe ordered pat Thai (no egg), Red Thai curry and fried tofu together with a Thai ice tea with Lemon and a mint ginger juice. The pad Thai had a delicious peanut sauce on top. It was very yummy, hot a lil spicy but surprisingly refreshing - just like the drinks, which are all made fresh. The Thai curry was delicious and they even gave us red rice for free. The service was so good, both lady’s were super helpful and spoke English well. the location is nice since there is no busy street makin it very pleasing.
We came back the next day, ordering panang curry, Noodles with green curry & peanut sauce, sushi roll and Thai ice Tee with milk. The panang curry had a similar taste but different vegetables with a zesty note. Very yummy although my fav will always be red Thai curry. The green curry noodles were yummy aswell, once again I do prefer pat Thai. The sushi rolls where a lot more flavorful than regular ones being served with what appeared to be actual wasabi. The Thai tee was good, even though my fav is the Lemon one.
Very recommendable and soooo affordable. I would give 6/5 stars...
