SANTI CHAI PRAKAN PUBLIC PARK is a great place next to the river to relax from the hectic city life. The park is located on Phra Athit road in the Banglamphu neighbourhood not far from the Khao Sarn tourist area.

Formerly the site of a sugar factory, today the public park is a tiny patch of greenery with a great river view. The park's most prominent landmark is the white Phra Sumen Fort, which was built in 1783 to defend the city against a river invasion. The octagonal brick-and-stucco bunker was one of 14 city watchtowers that formerly punctuated the old city wall alongside Khlong Rop Krung. Apart from Mahakan Fort, this is the only one still standing.

Santi Chai Prakan Park, is a public park that was built to mark the celebration of the 60th birthday of His Majesty the King in 1999.

The approx. 1.28 hectare of greenery make for a tranquil place in the otherwise hectic Bangkok city life. It‘s popular with locals, tourists and expats. There are a few rules though. No alcohol and cigarettes are allowed. This rules are overseen by officers in uniform from the BMA.

Santi Chai Prakan Park is a lovely green space located in the heart of Bangkok, Thailand. As soon as you enter the park, you'll be greeted by the beautiful trees and well-maintained lawns. The park is situated on the banks of the Chao Phraya River and offers stunning views of the river and the surrounding area.

One of the main attractions of the park is the beautiful old fort named "Phra Sumen Fort" which is located near the entrance. This traditional Thai structure is a popular spot for taking pictures and is a great place to sit and take in the views of the river.

In addition to the playground, the park has a large open space where people can relax, have a picnic, or play games. There are also several walking and jogging paths throughout the park, making it a great place to get some exercise while enjoying the beautiful scenery.

Overall, Santi Chai Prakan Park is a great place to visit for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of Bangkok and enjoy some peace and tranquility. Whether you're a local or a tourist, this park is definitely...

Located on the banks of the Chao Phraya River, Santichaiprakarn Park (commonly known as ‘Suan Santi’) was build around Phra Sumen Fort, one of two remaining fortifications built during the reign of King Rama I to protect the city. The small park has become popular with tourists, especially backpackers, and young locals in recent years. Street artists, fire jugglers, skateboarders and breakdancers are common sights during the evenings and weekends.

Santichaiprakarn Park is a great place to visit and take in the sights along the river. Children will enjoy seeing the ships and barges, exploring the fort (it's restricted), and watching the indie urbanites do...

So Beautiful and Peaceful Place. Must Visit if you are travelling Bangkok and specially staying in Khaosan Road. In Evening time this place looks very beautiful people are coming here for walking , dancing and enjoying nature. Here is also one small Fort with beautiful and colourful Garden. Facing River Bank so enjoy the moments.. No any kind of entry fees. For more Information you can visit my YouTube channel - Hardikkumar-HRK.

Very small park, itself there is nothing interesting. Drinking and smoking is prohibited. In the evening however it is perfect spot for watching light and music show at the nearby bridge. During week it's each 30 min from 19 to 21. Different hours for other days in a week, 2-6 shows per day. Lights how is nice and worth visiting but only ig you are nearby, don't come especially for the event becouse you will be disappointed.

It is a small park right across H_Cafe where we had our brunch today so we decided to cross and take a walk. It was a sunny day but good thing that it was windy. This park is along Chao Phraya river. It was clean. There were some tourist and locals taking a walk even if it's past 12 noon. Smoking and drinking alcohol is not allowed in this park. It is also beside Phra Sumen Fort.
