Looks good, but worst front desk staff I met in Thailand (hope that she is not the owner). If you are the owner. Buck up.
I Selected the traditional Thai massage. Then the front desk lady continued to tell me the next option, like, massage with balm/oil and such.
As she was telling me, I shook my head and smile at the same time. She got frustrated and she was very rude in telling me that "I'm just telling you". Eventually I just paid for what I opted for.
I gave her a big note in her hand Without looking at me, she gave me the change which she left it on the counter(so rude).
When a masseur came to ask me to follow him for a massage. Then I asked for a masseuse. The front desk lady commented something in Thai which I don't understand and then the masseur start looking at me like, I have done something wrong to ask for a masseuse.
How can you be talking in front of customer in their face, though I don't understand the language.
When I went in for the massage, They don't seem to have changed the sheet. The balm that they have been using for previous customer still stays on the sheet, which has a bit of stingy and prickly heat kind of sensation which I didn't like like it, that is why in the first place I did not opt for it. The pillow and everything just felt so hot. I told the massuese. After a while she check again, I told her is very hot, she tried opening the curtain thinking that is the hot weather kind of hot. She did a few things like removed the small pillow and gave me the big pillow but everything has been stain with balm.
I can feel the heat when I was lying on the bed. I hope that they have change the sheet after every single massage.
The massage is ok. I am Thai massage trained, just not practicing. I know if they are OK or great.
Will never come back for such attitude service and the balm...
ย ย ย Read moreProbably the worst massage of my life (I've been traveling in Asia for 8 months and have had quite a few). There were two of us with my girlfriend on the same package (2h neck, shoulder and back). I left the massage after only 1 hour, after 45 minutes of suffering.
The masseur didn't seem to know what he was doing at all, he just kept pushing and pushing and PUSHING much, much too hard. His elbow was literally digging into my spine and he was laughing on the bones of my shoulder blades. I had some uncomfortable movements, some moans, but he never asked me if it was okay or if the pressure was right for me. I informed my girlfriend's masseuse (mine didn't speak English) and yet it continued. I really felt like I was being crushed (knowing it wasn't supposed to be a deep tissue message). And I could feel the scratches from his fingernails.
They did reimburse me for the 2nd hour I didn't use and apologized.
But I still don't understand why, for the same package, we don't receive the same services and the same intensity of massage.
I wouldn't return...
ย ย ย Read moreMassage therapists were good but the managerโs (woman with lots of makeup) behavior was extremely rude and unfriendly!
We were group and arrived 5min late due to traffic. We started with apologizing but were met with managerโs โyou are lateโ. We donโt need special treatment but no hi, thanks, please, byeโฆnothing. Then she commanded us to sit in some dark corner which looked like a waiting space so we chatted a bit while there. Instead of initially telling us that there are clients behind 1 curtain (which looked like a storage room just next to the cashier), she came afterwards with the attitude of โhow could we not knownโ.
The massage was fine, but please send your manager to a seminar of how to deal with customers because she has absolutely no experience with that and is ruining the experience.
Also, when she picked up the phone when I called twice to set and then reschedule the appointment (in advance of course). Not even once she mentioned that you can pay cash onlyโฆ this is a basic info but luckily we had enough on us. So keep that in mind...
