We ate here twice - first time when everyone else was closed for the afternoon. Very good service and food - the restaurant is nice too, if you want a more Western type place but good Thai food, this is it. It opens to the street corner so you can watch the traffic while eating (says there is AC upstairs too). We had some tourist dishes and more traditional ones also - all good. They have a nice twist on Mango Sticky Rice - see photo. We got the Shrimp Toast - probably better on the street. We got Tom Yum with seafood twice, the second time got the Jumbo and it was! The Spicy Salted Egg Salad was good - I requested medium and it was a little mild. And the Fried Rice with Basil Leaves and Shrimp was fresh with a nice sauce, again a little mild but that is okay, they are trying to not kill the tourists! I'm sure if I'd asked for hot, they'd have obliged. There are tons of places along here to eat but Bo Raan is for a nice meal with a more sophisticated setting - their china is just lovely too! A rooster painted on every piece - wish I'd gotten tea just to see the teapot up close! If you are staying anywhere on this end of Phra Sumen Road or Dinso Road, this is worth...
Read morePat Café BoRaan is hands down one of my favorite hidden gems in Bangkok! The place is all about bringing rare and authentic Thai flavors to life. The moment you step in, you can feel the cozy, welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay a little longer.
The food? Absolutely incredible. If you're someone who loves traditional Thai dishes with a unique twist, this spot is for you. Every bite feels like a journey into Thailand’s rich culinary history, from the beautifully presented plates to the perfectly balanced flavors. Their old-school Thai recipes are a dream—simple, yet full of depth.
Beyond the food, the café itself has such a charming aesthetic. The second floor even features an air-conditioned dining space and an art gallery, which adds to the whole experience. Whether you’re grabbing breakfast, lunch, or dinner, this place makes every meal feel special.
The staff is super friendly especially BONNY and always happy to recommend dishes if you're unsure what to try. Honestly, whether you’re a Bangkok local or just passing through, you NEED to check out Pat Café BoRaan. It’s the kind of place that turns a simple meal into a...
Read moreYou really have an annoying issue training your staffs. Your staffs kept making the same mistakes; either by delivering wrong menu or missing some dishes customers ordered.
This is the second time, I feel regretted to come to your restaurant. And how can you leave your restaurant to a few employees who do not have a good command of Thai language or English language without any supervisor??
I and my friends carefully repeated what we have ordered twice to make them understand completely but in the end your staffs, wherever they came from, still forgot what we have ordered and we didn't get what we want.
Why???? Why this needed to happen? You said on your little food paper that you care about your services, but this doesn't look like the one that customers deserve. So, tell me, do you still really believe in what you wrote in that little conversation dialogue saying you care about...
