Read moreI like the vibe inside, the music and all. But I don’t think it’ll be my top go-to place for chocolate.
The good: The acorn looking Madeline looks good, but I didn’t try it. Many kinds of craft chocolate drink, hot and cold.
The not great: No chocolate flavor note charts. I have no idea what’s the difference between chocolate A. And chocolate B when both says nutty and fruity. Other chocolate cafe would give small piece for us to taste (I would appreciate if they let us smell or show us some clue on how the specific chocolate will taste(, but this place has no flavor chart and no free tasting. The price is rather high, 155 baht for normal craft chocolate drink (price will be higher for special craft chocolate drink. The staff doesn’t seem that knowledgeable or passionate about chocolate, or maybe they’re just tired idk. No helpful menu recommendation The pieces of chocolate in my drink isn’t completely melted, there were still small chunks. Was it intentional?
I tried the 80% dark chiang rai chocolate drink, it’s good.
Overall, I don’t think I’ll revisit this place...

The café offers a variety of chocolates made from Thai cacao beans sourced from different regions — each with its own unique flavor. It's a great way to experience how diverse Thai chocolate can be. But the real surprise? The fresh cacao juice! It’s naturally sweet and slightly tangy — almost like a refreshing lime juice, but made from real cacao fruit. I absolutely loved it. Such a rare find! If you're around Songwat, I highly recommend stopping by and supporting this local chocolate maker. It's a quiet, charming spot with quality you can taste. 🏠 About the Café Choch@Songwat is a boutique chocolate café located in a vintage-style building near Song Wat Road.
