🌟 A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Chinatown! 🌟
🍰 While wandering through the vibrant streets of Chinatown, we stumbled upon Arteasia Desserts & Cafe—a delightful oasis perfect for a quick break. Located in an old shophouse, this charming spot beautifully blends traditional Thai architecture with a modern twist, making it an ideal place for some social media-worthy shots. We decided to try their tasting menu and coffee, which did not disappoint!
☕ The ambiance inside is cozy and inviting, with a vintage charm that transports you back in time. The cafe is filled with beautiful decor and natural light that streams through the stained glass windows, casting colorful patterns on the walls. It’s the kind of place where you can easily lose track of time, whether you're enjoying a quiet moment alone or catching up with friends.
🍮 The tasting menu offered a variety of Thai-inspired tarts, each one more delightful than the last. The presentation was impeccable, and the flavors were a perfect balance of traditional and contemporary. Paired with a cup of their carefully brewed coffee, it was the perfect way to recharge after a long walk through the bustling streets.

Read moreHave been wanting to go to this place for ages. It’s located just on the other side of the main area of Chinatown. It’s a newly renovated shop house, and the cafe itself is on the 2nd floor. As for the interior, the cafe is aesthetically pleasing and definitely perfect for those who likes to take photos. And in the afternoon, the lighting just hit all the right spot. As for the tarts, Arteasia made their own interpretation of traditional Thai desserts. And also has a few savory options as well. Tried out 2 out of the many recommendations they have. “Going Bananas” is a tart with different texture and constructed with salted egg, banana coconut milk, mochi, and caramelised banana. The texture of the tart itself is a bit too crunchy, and breaks when cut. The filling is more on the sweet side and the sweetness is overpowering. Also got the “Two Faced Mango”, a take on mango sticky rice. A bit put off due to the bright red color of the tart, and the texture again is too crunchy. The filling is just sticky rice and some diced mango, which for me made the tart just dry. The topping is a mango cream cheese, but unfortunately the sourness of the cream cheese is too strong and the mango taste is barely there. Each components just stood by itself and not complimenting each other. For the drink, got the Peach Honey Soda. Not a favorite for me because it’s overly sweet from the honey and can barely taste the...
Read moreFrom lots of cafe in Song Wat area, I was really glad that I chose this one! The cafe is located in second floor (the first floor only the entrance and the stairs).
I ordered tasting set and it did not only look good but also taste so good (I want to cry 😭😭). It contains 8 tarts, each of them have very unique taste that you cannot find in another cafe. I called it "Thai Taste with Twist" as they have mango, sticky rice even salted egg! They were willing to adjust the set because I don't eat bacon so I asked it to be changed. The tarts are just exceptional 😘👌, I finished them all by myself lol.
The atmosphere is also good eventhough the place is not so big.
The drink was good but not being the main point.
