油條 — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

This used to be a roadside stall which grew into a proper 'restaurant" . It has lost much of its charm though.

Their original menu consisted of deep fried dough ปาท่องโก๋, coffee, tea, soya milk and soft boiled eggs. It is the gimmick of shaping the dough into different creatures that attracted the crowds.

Best sellers include crocodile, T rex, dragon and elephant. Most people buy it for a photo op. The regular deep fried dough offerings taste much better as it is cooked evenly.

This market has alot to offer to people to all ages. Upstair for ready made clothes. Not upmarket style. But who knows you may find something fun. Downstair fill with stalls selling all kind of dried packet fruits that is cheaper then supermarket. There's stall sell certain fresh Veggi that supermarket does have. Cook meat also available.
