Baanlansa Bed&Bar — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

Nice enough place but a little too expensive and they need more fans. The service was friendly enough but I started getting attacked by mosquitos almost as soon as I arrived (which was at dusk). There are 2 ceiling fans (neither of which were on) and a floor fan. I turned on a ceiling fan. I got bitten a little later. The waiter finally got off his mobile phone for long enough to notice that I kept looking at my legs and correctly guessed I was under attack by mosquito's and turned on the floor level fan. Thanks. The food and beer arrived. The large Chang was 85 Baht which is a little expensive. The Khao Soi was a ridiculous 85 Baht! It was average. My bill was 170 Baht. I can get the same meal and beer for 110 Baht at Grazie, only 10 minutes walk away. The KS is better and I never get attacked my mosquitos there. Upto you.... There is free wifi and there is also a toilet. There was a place for a live band but there was no-one laying when I was there. My family and I stayed at the Baanlansa for 3 nights and loved it.Within seconds of exiting our ride the owner/manager took us right to our big rooms with private bathroom and jetted tub.The wife and I had the king bed the kids had 2 singles in their room.I found the bed a touch hard but otherwise I slept perfectly.The rooms were clean,there was a bigger than average fridge a small deck with a table and 2 chairs and the a/c blew really cold air 😁 breakfast was good,I had #1 which consisted of 1 egg 2 chicken sausage and 2 toast with coffee/tea.I really enjoyed my stay,the Baanlansa was nicely located just outside old town,so it's a great jump off point to...
