Update: So sad they no longer have the yummy noodle. 😞
Absolutely love the egg noodle here. So thin and does not have the plasticky taste that some noodles have.
Stewed Pork Egg Noodle - meat was soft. Stir Fry Pork with Holy Basil on Egg Noodle - good ka prao taste. Stir Fry (Flat) Noodle with Chicken - love how dry and non-oily it is. Thai style coffee - both the hit and cold version are so good. The coffee doesn't have the bitter nor sour taste that some coffee beans have.
Truly enjoyed our meals here. The place has the old nostalgic vibes too.
3 things I wish could have been better: Portion is small. It is around half or at most 3/4 of the usual portion at other places. Guess it is good for sharing, meaning order many dishes and everybody have a bit of everything.
This is my 3rd time coming here and still no luck to try the porridge! Looks like next time really have to be here by 7am.
Nicer if they can have special chilli paste to go along with the dishes. They do have the typical types (dry chilli, chilli sauce and cut green chilli).
Definitely coming back to get the congee...

Read moreSo, it wasn't really bad per se, but if you had a better tasting and a more comfortable version you know it can be more appetizing - 4 minus. I prefer when the food is hotter, and probably a more spicey version of the porridge with more ginger in it. Hot Thai tea wasn't that good either, not a strong brew, something dissolved or watered down and also lukewarm. So, I'll probably won't try this again any time soon. Plus, the line was enormous, we had to wait 30 mins to be seated near the kitchen to smell the smoke. Still, the quality was decent, the ingredients fresh, the service impeccable, a big plus is English speaking stuff member at the counter. You need to sign up at the counter and then write down what you want to order (sheets and English menu are at the counter) and then wait at the entrance on a stool for your name to be called. Probably worth a try...
