Hello there! I went to this place at least ten or fifteen times in a month in Chiang Mai, and I would dare to say that even if we're not in little Japan up north of Thailand, you can definitely get quality sashimi, sushi and please try the other meal options already, such as battered horse-mackerel, tonkatsu, katsudon, etc. And if I remember properly, you can get good ramen for a 100 or 120 baht. Crazy! The chirashi bowls are to die and resurrect for, honest to my Goddess, and I don't know how they manage to get such fresh quality fish at a decent price. At least, the price you'll pay your meal for certainly is honest in this place where the staff are kind, proud and humble at the same time, I'd say. So if the translation works fine and that you can read this in Thai, a sincere thank you to all your team, from and admirative French guy who always sat near the kitchen area, until a month ago.
P.S.: I left tip and left, once, and one of the ladies followed me, walking fast over a hundred meters easily, to give it back to me, thinking that I had forgotten it. How kind, honest and human can people be, especially in Thailand? Thank you mademoiselle, for being such a great person. I love this country and its people,...
Read moreAbsolutely loved this place! The food was insanely good — every single dish we ordered was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The beef was juicy and tender, the salmon was super fresh and literally melted in my mouth, and the Japanese curry had that rich, comforting taste that hits just right. It really felt like dining in Japan without having to pay a fortune.
One thing I was really impressed with was how reasonable the prices were. For the quality and portion size, it felt like such a good deal. You definitely get more than what you pay for here, which is rare these days.
The staff were also super friendly and welcoming. Service was quick, attentive, and polite. Even when the restaurant was busy, they still managed to keep things running smoothly and made us feel taken care of.
The vibe of the place is cozy and relaxed, perfect for casual hangouts, dinner dates, or even a solo meal. The seating arrangement was comfortable and the atmosphere had a nice Japanese touch to it.
Highly recommend this spot if you’re into authentic Japanese food but don’t want to break the bank. I’ll definitely be coming back — probably sooner...

Had a bad experience here. There were only three groups ahead of us, yet we waited nearly an hour. The staff kept saying, "just a few moments," but if they had been upfront about the long wait, we wouldn’t have stayed.
There were too few staff members, so tables weren’t cleared quickly, and seating took longer than expected. Once we finally got a table, some dishes were unavailable—another disappointment.
The place feels more like a bar than a restaurant—extremely loud and not a good atmosphere for enjoying a meal. Overall, it was a waste of time, and we won’t be coming back. Unfortunately, this dinner ruined what was...
