Ordered pizza (not the best idea in Thailand but we read good recommendations), and we had to wait more than 40 minutes if we wanted to eat them both together. Didn’t understand that (because why could you serve them together after 40 minutes and not after 25?) but we wanted to eat together so we waited. After more than 70 minutes and several reminders, we got something like a pizza. The dough was like a tortilla and totally wet so had to send it back. We wanted to leave but the restaurant offered us a new try and had an excuse that the oven was not functioning right. When we didn’t like the pizza, we didn’t have to pay. After again 30 minutes one of the two “pizzas” came and it was totally wet again. The pizza that we already had, came back again and two pieces were missing? The only taste the pizza had was bolognese sauce and the toppings just fell off the tortilla on the plate. After some bites we definitely couldn’t eat more because of the taste and it was already after 9.30 pm. We didn’t have to pay but didn’t have real food either.. Maybe for a drink a good place but...
Read moreRegarded as the local by my travel companion and I when visiting Chiang Rai. There is nothing bad to say. We came every day for the 7 days we were in Chiang Rai. Breakfast, lunch, dinner they have it covered. Constantly was trying new things on the menu and found nothing I didn't like 😋 Irish stews, English breakfast, thai curries and rices all superb. Ambience and atmosphere just as terrific 👌 all the staff are warm, friendly and above all funny 😎 there is always something vibing here. Live music, sports and good times. Awe is truly awesome and has done a magnificent job with this fine establishment. Take it from me.....there is no where else you want to be in Chiang rai all night, every night 🙌🥳
P.S watch out for Jenny on her night off......she is a party animal and...

The Carbonara with Bacon was not very good, the sauce was creamy, but it had a sweet flavor as if it was cooked with condensed sweetened milk or something? Most carbonaras I've had in Thailand are salty or cheesy, but I was not expecting the sweet flavor. We ordered 3 dishes between 2 people and after the 1st plate (a sandwich) came out, it took like another 10 minutes for the 2nd dish (pasta). Then, another 10 minutes passed before we were informed that they couldn't make the 3rd dish (pigs in a blanket appetizer) because of some missing ingredients, but it was weird to find out more than 20 minutes after having ordered it, like they were not even going to start preparing it until after we were done with the...
