Bravo Bella Ciao!
Simply delicious, this beautiful Italian left me absolutely speechless. The dishes are out of this world and the beautiful appearance of this amazing eatery does not even begin to give you a hint of what you will experience.
I was comfortable as soon as I walked in and greeted by the owner who made me feel like I was the only diner there even though the restaurant was bustling with customers. I opted for the ravioli and a side dish of ratatouille and was completely intoxicated with the variety of flavours in such simple dishes. Believe me, there was nothing simple about it- the dishes were so tasty, I had to question who the chef was. As thereās an open kitchen, my guess was correct. He was Italian and I watched as he carefully observed and oversaw how every dish was cooked and delivered to perfection. He was also the other half of the husband and wife duo who run the restaurant. From the olive oil which was served with the bread to the beautiful tiramisu, you must put this restaurant on your bucket list as you will not be disappointed. The prices are very reasonable- you feel like you are dining in a Michelin starred restaurant without the hefty price tag.
I donāt believe in going to the same place twice, but I have to break this long standing tradition as I will definitely be back. Once again- bravo Bella Ciao for your fantastic ambience, delicious dishes and amazing service. Customers- donāt leave Phuket without having...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place is extremely weird, was absolutely empty at 20.00 On Friday night. And now I understand why. The food was mediocre⦠burrata quite good. But both paste we ordered were overcooked. And felt like Iām eating Thai noodles, definitely not Bolonese fetuccini. For cost 50 bat maximum, not around 500 as we paid. Drinks⦠3 lil leaves of mint and thatās it. What can happen worse than overcooked pasta? Let me tell you.
Extremely weird and rude service. Right after I finished my pasta the waitress brought the menu in front of my eyes and said āPlease, look for some dessertā. Excuse me?! I even didnāt ask for the menu or anything like dessert. Just what is this? We asked for the bill and said we gonna pay by card. And then unbelievable happened! The waiter wanted to TAKE our card and asked for the pin code! Iām not kidding. I asked why is she asking for such personal information. Itās illegal in any country. Are you serious guys? Just whatās this? What kind of scam is it? We asked to bring the terminal and called for the manager. No apologies, just nonsense, havenāt heard any reasonable explanation. And all this is for 1700bat.2 pasta, 1 buratta, 2 virgin mohito. Left hungry and insulted. Worse dinner I had in Phuket. Awful place. Awful service and bad food. Be careful! They wonāt lose a chance...
