The food is very nice, crab was good but the only problem is the staff. They don’t speak English very well and they forget everything what we tell them. I go to this restaurant everyday for lunch after visiting the beach and I couldn’t get a normal Tom Yam soup for four days. I asked them to make it spicy but they always gave me a medium spicy option always saying sorry. In the end I had enough and I returned the soup twice in a row and told them to add spice. What’s the problem with making it spicy 🤷‍♂️? The interior is really poor and has no design whatsoever. For a few days now we have noticed that they served us food really slowly. It took them 45 minutes to prepare fish and chips. Kati Beach Bar and Restaurant was originally Tony’s Seafood Restaurant which was previously located in the Laguna area. We are so glad to find this beautiful restaurant once again and the food was just as marvelous as before. Perhaps priced above the median, the service and delicious fresh seafood was well worth it. Their new restaurant is tucked at the end of the road which made it slightly more difficult to find at night…. Just remember the road ends at the beach!!!! Their mango sticky rice is prepared to perfection!!! The restaurant is great for either a romantic meal away from the hustle town or a family of four with kiddos running around or even a huge group. Great place! You can tell it’s newly opened, but that’s because the staff is highly attentive and everything is brand new.

We had a great meal with the best shrimp I’ve had in Asia (excellently prepared, in tamarind sauce). We also had a snapper in chili sauce, minced pork, chicken Panang, and fried rice. All were excellent.

The drinks could be better, but our red wine (red from Bordeaux) was excellent.

We went here on a rainy evening and it was still excellent. Without rain it’s the perfect dinner spot on the beach, but comes close even with rain.

I recommend all to come by for the food! (And definitely try the tamarind shrimp)
