Simmy Bar & Restaurant — Restaurant in Choeng Thale

We are very inexperienced travellers from Australia and visiting Phuket for 7 days. We really struggled to find places to eat as we are very picky! We found this place by chance and glad we did! The food and staff are amazing!! Cocktails were amazing too (especially at 99 baht during happy hour!). Our fave dishes were the Phanang chicken curry and chicken fried noodle. We ate at the restaurant twice and ordered takeaway tonight which they delivered to our hotel as we are flying out in the morning and busy packing, otherwise we would be there again tonight! Staff are very friendly and very sweet toward our baby also. They always offered to drive us back to our hotel afterwards which was extremely helpful and much appreciated!!! We will definitely miss Simmy restaurant and bar and hope we get to come back one...

Best of the best of Thai food here in this area, fair price from their quality of food, chill atmosphere, and service mind. I ordered Papaya Salad and it’s the exact taste I ever had like 20 years ago, it’s the taste that it should be not too mind, and not too strong, Papaya Salad here is perfect. Since I came every day, the owner proudly present and invited me for her special menu that she home books but it’s not in the menu, look at the photos. We looked long for a restaurant that served good food at a still reasonable price. We already ate twice here and will be coming back next week. Best Thai food in the area. It's the most authentic and tasty food that we've had. Sadly, the other restaurants are too "European". And the service is just top. From coming in to leaving.
