Twin Brother — Restaurant in Choeng Thale

We had dinner at Twin Brother almost every night during our stay… and every time, it felt like coming home. It’s a lovely family-run restaurant with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The owner is super friendly and always ready for a nice chat with a big smile. His daughter, who works at the restaurant, is absolutely wonderful – she speaks perfect English, is kind, attentive, and makes every meal even more enjoyable.

The food was always amazing: fresh grilled fish, cooked perfectly, and the papaya salad was one of the best we’ve ever had. Everything is simple, but made with love – and you can really taste it.

Even though we were far from home, they made us feel like part of their family. We’re leaving with some beautiful photo memories and a full heart. Twin Brother will always be our special place in Phuket and we’ll definitely be back. THANKS for everything,

So I been to Phuket 4 times for 4 years and by far this restaurant has served me the best seafood I have tasted yet. The decor is simple but yet comforting. Looks like a hole in the wall that you seriously would want to go to. The steamed fish with lemon is to die for. Strong taste, sweet, a little spicy, all in one. You get to choose the fresh seafood right in front of you so you get what you wanted. They got small and big beers to enjoy. The staff is very friendly, happy go lucky, and love kids. Family runned restaurant so you know the recipes have been passed down. A family mart right in front of it. If you think you were full after your food then better make more room because you get a fresh sweet plate of fruits on the house.

I tried my very best to like this place but alas, my tummy and my tongue got the best of me. First, I completely understand that it’s the low season so not having everything available on the menu is fine. However, we were served with an alternative that felt so artificial that everything tasted like something out of the packet from the convenience store just across. We didn’t enjoy at all the masaman curry and the noodle soup tasted like the seafood was way past its sell-by date.

The staff and the team were amazing and very friendly though, but that didn’t remove the fact that we had an expensive meal that we barely enjoyed. Skip this place for...
