Security and management use strength against guests, also claiming to have friends in police (main manager told us better not to go To police because he has good friends there). Shouting security, very aggressive.
Have proofs, videos. And people who can prove.
My friends and I visited Fira Phuket on February 15, 2025. The establishment is attractive with its view and pool, but our evening was hopelessly ruined by the absolutely unacceptable behavior of the staff and management, including the use of physical force against my friend and veiled threats. It all started with ambiguous pool usage rules: as it turned out, it's not accessible to all guests, only to those who have occupied loungers nearby, which already creates a sense of discrimination. When my friend and another member of our group were in the pool, the head guard flew into a rage, started shouting and waving his arms, trying to kick them out. A female administrator temporarily smoothed things over, especially since we had already ordered food and drinks. Sometime later, after two more friends joined us and we were having dinner at a table near the bar on the pool level, manager Pedro and the same head guard approached our table. Pedro, in an extremely rude manner, demanded that we leave the premises. When my friend asked in surprise about the reason, Pedro used physical force against him: he grabbed my friend by the arm, trying to forcibly lift him from his chair. When my friend stood up, Pedro and the guard started to push him and continued shouting. Later, I realized that one of our friends who had arrived later had swum in the pool without a special bracelet, which apparently became their pretext for such aggression. At the exit, I approached the second manager (tall, well-built, introduced himself as French, unfortunately, I don't remember his name) and asked him to intervene and sort things out. However, not only did he not help, but he also fully sided with his aggressive employees. He stated that 'this is Asia, not Europe,' and if I had any complaints, I could go to the police, but then immediately added that it wouldn't help me because he has 'many different influential friends.' To my request to see the CCTV footage, he refused, stating he would only provide it upon police request (where he, by his own words, has 'friends'). Then, right in front of this French manager, the head guard again lost control, started pushing my friend towards the road, and hit him on the arm. The French manager only slightly moved the guard aside, after which he said that my friend was to blame for everything, then turned around and left. I want to note that the venue itself is indeed good: excellent view, full occupancy, infinity pool. But the policy of dividing guests into those who can and cannot use the pool already raises questions. However, the main and flagrant drawback is the top managers who permit themselves such 'anti-hospitality,' calling themselves 'bosses' who decide who can be in their establishment and who cannot, and who do not shy away from using physical force and threats. My other friends were filming what was happening, and we have video recordings of this entire outrage. I intend to report this incident to the relevant competent authorities and also send a complaint to the higher management of Fira Phuket demanding the dismissal of these employees (the head guard, manager Pedro, and the French manager) for their blatant unprofessionalism and aggressive behavior. Future visitors, be extremely cautious! As long as such employees work at Fira Phuket, your relaxation and safety are...

Read moreI'll admit that I don't usually utilize a facility of this manner. On the first level it is a big party, with youthful exuberance. That would be great, had I not yet grown old.
So, this is probably a different perspective than from that of most visitors.
I'm 50+, and prefer things to be calmer and quieter than I did in my 20s. Keep that in mind.
Okay, so, with all that having been said: I absolutely enjoyed my time at Fira. They have several different areas which cater to the tastes of different clients.
I was able to enjoy a very relaxing time on the second floor, out at the Doxa bar, which overlooks the city below, and maintains a view of the pool party on the first floor. The views, in both directions, was very enjoyable. Once the party calms down, the view over the ocean is so very pleasant.
The highlight was the restaurant, called Kipo, on the second floor. It serves real food, from an amazing chef, and not the "party food" of pizza and whatnot that's served down below (although, I have no doubt it's high quality as well, as this facility is not messing about). It's well worth visiting, even if you don't enjoy the benefits of the remaining facility.
Overall, Fira is impressive. If you are 18 to 20-whatever, then you'll undoubtedly enjoy the instagramable party on the first level. If you're 30+, then they have higher end options, all the way up to their VIP rooms which looked like a heck of a good time. Meanwhile, those of us that have reached that age, and are slowing down, can still enjoy everything the second floor has to offer.
Overall, I was extremely impressed with the variety of options, which are still in proximity with one another.
Also, every single person working there was exceptionally kind, knowledgeable, and patient with my bumbling requests. Overall, I'm just saying that the staff is wonderful. The hiring manager must really be good at their job. I felt like a VIP, even though I was just an average customer visiting for a few drinks and a meal. It was nice to feel so special.
tl;dr... just go, no matter what your age. You'll be so happy that you did. It will be a highlight...
