When I had heard about this newly opened scone joint, I made my way there without hesitation. Scone is probably one of my most favourite pastry. 😆 Very humble but yet comfort. To have cream tea on a daily basis that would be perfect really. 🤔 But it is like impossible to find a place with decent cream tea in Bangkok. Humble one will do seriously. By the way, it's Cornish way for me personally. Sorry Devonian.

This one, Baker Bricks in Soi Sukhumvit 39, is advertised as a scone specialist. It's a tiny cafe, mainly for take away since there are only a few stool seats. Scones are served with whipped cream (where is my holy clotted cream 😥) and jam here. There are a few variation to be chosen from. Just pick your favourite, it is not much different in my view. Plain one will do just fine really.

Texture wise, it's ok to eat. Not too dry but not that wow mouthfeel. Similar to scones I used to grab from Sainsbury's perhaps. For flavour, perhaps they lack a touch of seasoning. 🤗 For the part that I don't like, it's cream and jam. There were too little of them. I could finish what given in a bite. Additionally, having scones without clotted cream is like having mango sticky rice without coconut cream. 🤔 For beverage, they were so-so but not bad, so let's skip them.
