Conkey's Bakery — Restaurant in Khlong Tan Nuea Subdistrict

What a gem! I strolled into Conkey’s on a Saturday morning around 10:00 AM. There was plenty of seating and baked goodness to choose from at this time.

They have a good selection of cakes, brownies, cookies, pies, breads, croissants and more. Surprisingly, they have free samples of a lot of the items which makes choosing easier.

The seating area is outside with a lot of shade by big beautiful trees. I really enjoyed the environment here.

The food was exceptional. I had a raspberry croissant which I loved. In the center of the croissant was a generous amount of a delicious raspberry filling. Highly recommended.

I also tried the pecan pie. It was also excellent. I was afraid it would be too sweet like others I’ve tried recently. However. Conkey’s nailed it

The Apple tart was the third and final item I had. It was also good, but I would go for something else next time.

I washed it all down with an Iced Americano.

I highly recommend this bakery. I haven’t found another place with this quality and selection around this area.

📍Location is less than a 10 minute ride from the BTS Ekkamai. It has a good sized parking lot and free parking. Google Maps will get you there.

So after having a delicious pickled cabbage soup my friend and I decided to come here and check out the baked goods cause it wasn’t that far away from where we were!

We came here to this bakery I love the outside garden area and space so you can come and have an iced coffee and some really nice homemade baked goods !

I ended up getting the orange poppyseed muffins which were good but they were sent too much orange flavor in the poppyseed orange muffins but there’s lots of poppy seeds which I absolutely love !

I also ended up buying some chocolate 🍫 mocha cake which was really good , and the apple tarts which I took took to a party that I was going to in the evening! Everyone enjoyed the baked goods and especially the focaccia bread I have the olive and tomato and one with feta cheese was really tasty as well!

Both of the breads were a hit at the party ! 🥹😁🙏🏼🦋

A decent bakery place serving very tasty danishs and croissants. The pizza we got was a bit dried. The salmon and spinach quiche was also pretty dried and was a bit bland.

Unfortunately, no ketchup/chilli/salt/pepper was offered to us at the place at least in our dine in experience. We didn't bother to ask but it should be provided anyway?

The restaurant was spacious with plenty of outdoor space and a very nice garden. There was also a lot of parking area in the house.

Ambience was excellent with large wooden table and great ventilation. Siting outside is as comfy as in the air conditioned room.

The prize was relatively expensive for a bakery. But given the location, it is understandable.

So in all... Food : Danish and croissants = 5 (very tasty)

Pizza and quiche = 3 (not bad but not that great)

Space = 5 (absolutely a nice place to hang out)

Service = 3 (the guy at the counter was not very happy to explain the menu, no ketchup or sauce or salt or pepper, no napkins...
