"bartenders" (actually I wouldn't want to offend serious mixologists by referring to those unskilled hobby waiters as "bartenders") don't care about guest at all. instead focus in practicing silly juggling tricks with the shakers (maybe suitable in movies or for taxibars off sukhumvit) which they annoyingly drop on the floor every few seconds (about 20 times during the 1 drink i had). goes without saying that dropped shakers are used for mixing drinks afterwards without being washed before use...also bartenders fingers are a popular tool for tasting liquid ingredients off in front of customers yaki; I admit that not even having been offered a handful of peanuts or similar with our 2 thb 600 g&ts upset me a bit in the first instance but only until realized their approach to hygiene. shame should this place really have got any connection to...

This is one of my favorite bars in all of Bangkok. Let me explain... This is my local bar which is not far from my neighborhood. This means that I have the option to walk home if I don't feel like getting screwed over by the taxis that are waiting along Sukhumvit in the wee hours of the morning.
