My dining experience falls short of expectations, particularly in terms of flavour. The dishes are simple, best for drinking night out.
**Highlight Dishes The Wagyu Nabe is a notable dish with a comforting hot soup and fresh vegetables. The soup has a pleasant balance, not overly salty, making it a satisfying choice.
The karaage (fried chicken) is another standout, with juicy, well-cooked. enjoyable to eat.
However, the omakase sushi and ikura sashimi are disappointing. The freshness of the fish is questionable, and the texture feels off.
While the Wagyu A5 beef is good, ordered 2 type of meat, look identical. No explanation which one is it. While dining in , the it does not feel like the A5 are particularly stand out. Pairing it with a sauce or slightly change the side vegetable might help elevate the dish.
Ambience The restaurant's small space, especially on the first floor. Tables are positioned too closely to each other, with limited room to move around. This can feel uncomfortable, especially during busy times.
Additionally, the third floor is under renovation, and the women's restroom was unavailable during my visit. The staff directed us to use the men's restroom, which led to an awkward situation, as we had to wait for the men to finished the business so we can come out from the restroom.
Parking Parking is another drawback. There's no proper parking provided by the restaurant, and have to park on the street during busy street or pay for parking at a nearby parking. It would be appreciated if at least two hours of complimentary parking were offered, as this is standard at many fine or decent dining...
Read moreThis restaurant definitely has 5 star potential. Based on the social media content… it is marketed pretty much as advertised. As far as the overall experience… it unfortunately fell short of my expectations. We had a reservation for party of 6 on Valentine’s Day consisting of 3 couples. I believe the staff were not well trained by management on etiquette and specialized service techniques that is to be expected of a high end establishment. The overall vibe of the restaurant suggest that it aspires to be a high end dining experience. I may be wrong. For Sake connoisseurs, and Wagyu beef enthusiast, I would highly recommend the menu. Particularly for individuals you have the knowledge base to enjoy an evening taste-making the quality fares offered without much staff support. Unfortunately, if you are a novice in regards to these specialty Japanese products, you may likely be lost in the menu without much guidance from the staff due to limited subject matter expertise. I would love to visit again as a consumer after communicating with management or even the ownership, however as an aspiring content creator, I did not feel comfortable validating this establishment as an experience worth the price based on the service received during our visit. Our entire group left with a bit of disappointment although we made the most of the evening as we celebrated love and fellowship. We also showed gratitude to the staff as we believed they did the best they knew how. I hope this review is received with love. Peace and Prosperity and hats off for the...
Read moreI had high hopes for this place, but unfortunately, it fell short in several key areas. The food was decent in term of taste but the prices were noticeably higher than the quality delivered, especially across several menu items.
The worst part of experience was the umeshu buffet. We had reservation for 8:30 pm., but still had to wait nearly 20 minutes to be seated. There was no proper waiting area so we left standing on the footpath.
Once we were finally seated, the food service was extremely slow. To make matters worse, the restaurant tried to count our buffet time from the reservation time instead of when we were actually received the first drink. We had to call the manager to resolve this issue and although we got extra 10 minutes, it still felt unfair.
Another major disappointment was being charged and unreasonable fee for supposedly damaged glass. The staff claimed we clinked glass too hard, which cause the damage, even though we just toasting normally. This charge was never communicated in advance and felt like an unfair surprise.
The total bill came to around 13,000 thb for 4 ppl. which made the whole experience feel even more disappointing.
There’s no parking, space is uncomfortable, and the service left a lot to be desired. I wouldn’t recommend this place and definitely won’t...
