The food itself is of average level but the service is unacceptable. First, the amount of shochu is the smallest per glass I have seen throughout Japan and in other izakaya in Bangkok. It makes a very poor impression for a restaurant with the name "酒场" in it when the serving is so ungenerous for a 160 thb glass plus tax plus service charge. A glass of shochu in a typical izakaya in Tokyo would be about 300 yen or 70 thb but twice the amount per glass. And I am talking about TOKYO, where the cost of living is at least 5 times of Bangkok.
And then, after waiting for almost an hour, I found out the staff made a wrong order. I ordered a yakitori set of 6 pieces, but I was only served one piece. I asked the staff what that one piece was and got a response of " I don't know"! OMG! This can be dangerous for people with food allergies or for whatever reason such as religious reasons they need to avoid certain food. I pointed at the menu with pictures and Japanese and English written on it when I made the order and I just don't understand how the staff could have made such a big mistake of ordering something that was not even remotely similar.
